ABOUT ISAAC TERRY

I am a first-generation Cuban American raised in the South Bronx, NY, during the height of the crack epidemic; and when violence ruled the streets. However, my siblings and I were fortunate to have two great parents we considered role models because of their exemplary behaviors. More importantly, my dad was the ROCK and foundation that kept us well-grounded in a chaotic environment; for that reason, I believe that dads are significant in the upbringing of their children. 

 

Hence, UNLOCK YOUR GIFT AS A DAD was born from three primary sources my dad, who was the paragon of my family, my environment, that showed me the hardships that many of my contemporaries had to endure mainly those that were fatherless, and lastly my children, because through them I have learned the value of being a father. In fact, the name Unlock Your Gift derives from an idea and a movement that my eldest son Joshua created since Joshua believes that we all have a gift within us that it’s waiting for it to be unlocked.
